Words have power. Hebrew words have an additional weight that rests on the sacred source from which they come. The work takes small, powerful words that come from this place, and weaves a sequence that wants to return them to the side of light, of truth, of weaving good. The result is a kind of prayer, request and hope.
In this piece, hebrew letters form mouths and ears to convey a sense of the effect words have on us and the huge role they play in our lives, and our responsibility to speak and listen well.
The work accompanies festival-goers to the entrance to the TEO Center, the words are displayed on walls throughout the building, one word at a time. Along the way, from different perspectives, several walls are seen and a random connection is created between the different words.
